Drive 1x04 (HDTV-PROPER-2HD)

can anyone tell me, please, why there is a proper for this episode? what is
wrong with the hdtv-xor (vtv) version?

so far have been unable to find any information on this.

i have the xor, but can't see anything wrong with it. i've skipped through and
audio is in sync throughout, it's the right size/length, etc.

"caphs was pdtv and xors has been nuked throughout nukenet for jerky picture
making it almost unwatchable. checkout the proof in the sample dir enjoy our
error free rls."

i read a nuked message on the "proper" that said the original release group's
was fine. i sure don't see any "jerky picture throughout".

look at the xorfucked-video.drive.avi sample that 2hd included in the release.

this proper was nuked, then unnuked with the message "unnuked:
other.release.is.not.fine"

so there was some disagreement within the scene, but this proper has been
settled as the one to get.

it was definitely jerky. we tried to watch it and couldn't figure out what was
going on. since we were streaming from the computer to tv we thought it might be
a bandwidth issue but it wasn't it was the actual video file.

whats the title of the opening theme(song) and the singer

the song is yet to be released, the band is called "institute" through

it looks like this show has already been canceled. saw an article at tvguide.com

yep. seems true. wish they'd given the show more of a chance.

obviously there must have been some quirk in xor's encoding such that half the
decoders choke on it while the other half don't.

with ffdshow in winxp, there's mild stutter - every few seconds there's a
small jerk from a couple dropped frames.

with the perian component in quicktime (on os x) it plays fine. it also seems
to play fine in vlc.

drive' cancelled ☹️

fox has impounded "drive," steering the show off the network highway after four
episodes.

despite decent reviews, "drive" quickly stalled, averaging just a 2.3 rating and
6 share among adults 18-49, and 5.6 million viewers overall.

monday night's "drive" didn't help matters, coming in fifth place for the hour
(1.5/5) and driving "24" to record lows, dropping fox to fourth for the night.

whether the last two episodes will be broadcast or streamed online has not been
decided yet by the network.

omg y would they do such a thing. drive is just picking up i see alot of
potential in this show they should keep it going and y did they renew the riches

damn you americans! why do you watch so much shite on tv and yet, when something
good comes along, nobody watches it?
