speak 3 out of 4 of my national languages will try to learn the 4th some day and
speak another 2 languages pretty good and defend myself in yet another

can't wait for all the shows to start back up in the fall. i think a lot of
them will start back up september. and one of the shows i watch won't start up
till january.. wtf =/

anyway.. my real reason for posting..

i think another reason why people.. at least i think.. don't like the french
because a lot of them are on internet relay client servers. and a lot of .fr
users are pretty lame. their english is abysmal and they generally pull newbie
stunts. by newbie stunts i mean like.. screwing up on a copy/paste.. breaking
common channel etiquette rules by asking for stuff before reading topic, etc..

i'll group them together with .br, .it, .il users.. also the t-dialin.net, aol
users as well. and before people pounce on me for saying that.. i'll temper
that with the fact that it's true.. this is a generalization and there probably
are users that fall in these categories that aren't as i say there are. and
there probably are users that are not in these categories that are lame as well.

but, the fact remains.. that it's not simply my own opinion that supports these
claims. browse channel ban lists and you'll see similar trends. or observe
chats and you'll get a similar view.

points of application. if these users feel the need to defend their country's
honor or their own honor.. let them. more likely than not, they'll expose
themselves during their emo fest. here's the thing that they don't seem to
grasp. it doesn't matter if their points are valid or not on a forum or irc
environment.. all the parties will have already formed their own opinion and
will have pretty much decided that their own opinion is absolute and true. so
if you think about it, it's really pointless. but.. like i'm guilty of doing
as well.. we like to indulge in pointless chatter. it's the tragedy of the
human condition. just look at the amount of time we spend watching tv heh.
