not so. i just watched the homeless episode, there wasn\'t anything wrong with
it. no skips, no out of sinc audio. i also burned it and played it on my dvd
player, worked fine.

just fyi

believe it or not, 140ms is not enough to be noticed by many people, perhaps
even most. my guess is if you watched both caps very closely you could see it.
look for sharp sounds like someone slapping something down on a desk. that's
much easier to spot than the lip-sync. i once watched an entire episode that was
170ms out and didn't notice until someone pointed it out! granted, i was a
little tired at the time...
;)

if you're happy with what you have, obviously there's no reason to download
another version. fqm doesn't play games like some other groups, though, i'll
take them at their word until proven wrong.

ahhhh okie doke, i was just saying its very watchable. but thank you for the
clarification. normally i only switch downloads if the episode is very bad.
given i don't have tv reception and i am very grateful for those who do these, i
am not hugely picky if the episodes are good enough to watch without irritation
:chuckles: thanks for the heads up on the technology though, i have noticed some
popping between commerical cuts on occasion.
