irc help

hi guys

i am new to irc and i am having trouble connecting to eztv irc. i have been
able to get access twice but then when i try to restart the software later or
when i boot up it doesnt work.
i have tried using ice chat and bersic clients, are these useful and does
anyone know why i cant connect.

i would be greatful for any help or tips.

im also having issues getting onto irc using mirc

clicked the logo like normal and all i get is:

any ideas?

found a way round, go to the bt-chat site click their link and then enter /join
#eztv and it works
