Dr Who may not air tonight

hi all,

just so you know, there may be no new episode of doctor who tonight. there's a
footie game beforehand and if it goes into overtime and possibly penalties, the
bbc may hold off the episode till the following saturday. this is because it
would otherwise start too late for young kids. article below:


"the bbc said today that this coming saturday's episode of doctor who would be
put back a week if the preceding football match overruns because "it could not
be broadcast after extra time as it would be 'too late' for younger fans."

it details the alternative schedule for bbc three, should the episode be bumped,
adding that the decision whether or not to pull the episode will be made on the day.

bbc one is broadcasting the fa cup semi-final clash between manchester united
and watford."


so i guess everyone's hoping man u just thrash watford tonight!!!!

oh ffs. that means the daleks in manhattan 2-parter will be frakking delayed and
i'm dying to see those eps!!! god damn soccer - and man u watford? i'd rather
watch love & monsters (worst ep of tv ever, well done doc who - get a kid to
create a monster = big mistake 1 - get peter kay to play that stupid monster =
big mistake 2 - typical british idiots - get friendly with your fans, but dont
let a kid design a monster on a so-called professional production) than watch
that game.

knowing man u though, i have nothing to worry about. they'll probably slaughter
watford in the first half - they better slaughter them in the first half.

i'm just furious the bbc will push back this show - why not air it on sunday,
why not just air it later that night and say to hell with the kids? idiots.

is there anywhere we can check online to see if the soccer match is running
long?

check bbc.co.uk and the sports section to see the scores. the second half is
just starting now with the scores at 2-1 to man utd, so hopefully the game will
finish on time.

the game ended 4-1 to man u, on time. doctor who is due to start in 7 minutes.
like i said, the game ended on time so i expect doctor who to start on time as well.

yep match of the day just ended. was funny - alan shearer was talking and gary
liniker just cut him off suddenly "sorry, we've run out of time." damn right you
have! get tennant on so we don't have to listen to that newcastle scum
(sunderland fan).

doctor who is starting now on time - it will be on the net tonight. no worries.

i really enjoyed the episode - nice revelation at the end of the episode, that
i'm not sure many people will pick up on. maybe you will...

er... face of boe's talking???

yeah what the face of boe said to the doctor. 'twas obvious what he meant and i
think the season finale will result in the doctor realising he's not alone
(trying not to spoil people here). i think the title of the season finale is
more of a question than a statement. last of the timelords? (2) - but we'll see,
i may be wrong :-p

this is one of the poorest shows on tv at the moment.

go watch class, 3lbs or the lword then.
