ok, so from what i gather the series was scheduled to have five episodes and they never planned to air
one of them. now, the last episode was moved to saturday and they're going to air the extra episode, so it
is safe to say that the move was to enable them to show both episodes (wouldn't be possible on
thursday). do we actually have a confirmation that the show was completely canned, because from what i
can tell it's just some over-eager writers interpreting the schedule change wrong. i mean, there's no
official word from nbc on this, right?

can't say i'm going to miss it greatly, but it still annoys me that we have so many useless news in the tv-
news section, of which some are just plain wrong or speculative at best.

it's not officially cancelled, but since it is moved to the tv wasteland that is
saturday, it is as good as gone.

oh, god... it is not cancelled per nbc website. it simply ended. only six episodes were made, a mini-
series. that in itself does not mean that it was cancelled. it was always scheduled to run for five weeks,
guess what? it did.

no one else is calling it a "mini-series" but you. it was canned. it's
unfortunate, but true. network execs just don't give shows much of a chance
these days. (i still lament firefly.)

if you wish to call napoleon's defeat at waterloo a "calculated retreat", you go
on ahead. :d
