INTERVENTION?

intervention is a reality show about people with serious drug and/or alcohol
addictions ending each episode with that person's surprise intervention to seek
help and head to rehab, staged by their family and friends.

it airs friday nights on a&e at 10pm/9c and is something i would
like to see on eztv.

does anyone else watch this show as well?

nope and you should be ashamed for even requesting it.

rofl god... u are retarded man... really... that kind of shows helps you to see
the terrible side of drug abuse. i personally was in rehab for 3 month and i
think if i would have seen or known wut drugs do to you in extreme cases i'd
have thought twice :d.

the show does not ridicule people's disorders nor their addictions. in fact, the
show runs like a documentary. it follows the lives of specific people with
addictions and their families are at their wits end trying to get them help.

i am a masters student in psychology, studying various addictions and i work
with many people at a clinic. i, myself, was in rehab for several months for an
eating disorder. therefore, this show intrigues me and i learn from it.
i have had friends who were in rehab for an assortment of issues and this show
displays the hardships and the agony the families endures to get their loved
ones help. i sympathize with them because i know what it takes and i know how it
feels. you say it shows the terrible side of drug abuse....there is no wonderful
side to it, and if there was i must have not received the memo 🙂

i am saddened that people would think i would want to watch for the simple fact
i get a kick out of people's agonies. you thought wrong.
but thanks for the help anyway!
