deadlytrev, you might wanna sit down.. for what i'm about to say ain't gonna be
easy. next ep of atlantis will air around march 2007. it's ok to cry now. i
know i almost did. same thing happened last year.

i don't know how those soulless, heartless ba----ds can do something like this
and cut the season in the middle and leave fans feeling numb and empty. and
that ep being a two-parter doesn't make it any easier. ditto for sg-1. it's
like showing a bag of the best candy to a kid, then give him a few and then
tell him "there you go. you'll get the rest next year. now go do your
homework."

i hate the people who make these decisions. may them rot in hell... where devil
may show them their fav shows and put them on a break like for 6 months.
man... i'd go there just to see their faces.

cameltoe - the wait might be a little shorter, since the new eps might run in
canada starting late november, like they did last year.

fyi, just incase you don't know, but sg1 has also been given the chop.
but will return in march 07 with atlantis, with i understand a condensed run to
end the program forever.

look atlantis is on next week in canada. canada isn't having a break. scfi only
have the rights to play the first few episodes first not the hole season. i have
left this info here many times. so atlantis is on next week and that is that

hmmm, maybe not next week, but definately sooner than march '07 at any rate.

favourite site of mine for nearly 10!!! years) tmn canada will air ep11 on 20th
november so we'll have to wait 1 month.

however, tmc canada's schedule about a month ago said that they'd be airing ep
11 on 23rd oct, but that changed recently to 30th oct.

sky one (uk) have ep11 scheduled for january at any rate so there's no way we'll
be waiting until the mealy-mouth american tv schedulers deign to allow it to air
march '07.

to summarise all that; possible air dates for stargate atlantis s03e11 ...
tmc 30th oct. '06 (60% sure)
tmn 20th nov. '06 (95% sure)
sky 3rd jan. '07 (? jan sometime, anyway)
sfi 3rd mar. '07 (truely pathetic and insulting to their viewers)

personally i prefer the tmn broadcasts ... hd, no ad breaks (so much less chance
of sync problems in release) and no bugs in the corners of the screen.

if you look at the movie central website its on next week in hdtv in canada so
it will be here next wednesday/thursday

just looked ... it now says (see above ... hmmm eztv site bug: you can't
intersperse quotes)

... which is different to what it said a few days ago. :-( still, it's a lot
sooner than march 2007.

does that mean sg-1 will be on next week too? i can't understand these maddening
mid season breaks. it's like they *want* to piss you off.

sg-1 will certainly not be coming next week - canada is quite far behind on
sg-1. however sg-1 has just started airing in the uk (we just released episode
1). if previous years are anything to go by, they should continue through the
episodes with a short break for christmas. so we'd expect new sg-1s to start in
the uk in mid to late january.

they're pdtv, so not quite as good as the canadian sgas. but still a damn sight
better than the american dsrs. 🙂

how infuriating! i was under the impression that the two seasons were running
concurrently since there has been a bit of crossover with the characters and
storylines every now and then, so it's a bummer that there's no sg-1 for a while.

well, if you wait till sci-fi airs both shows, then you would get concurrent
airings. it's up to you if you want to wait.
