i may have to download all these hdtv's now that the seasons
over im like a
crackhead looking for that one last piece of crack on the floor
don't get to excited, the compression quality on some of these 350mb rips has
been awfull, if this weeks is as bad as last weeks, i'm switching to 700mb rips
for the last 6 of the season, the sfm rips were tolerable, the bia stuff has
been awfull...
it's great and all that you are getting better quality eps up but is is that
hard to include 'repost' or something in the title just for those few of us who
go ooh new bsg and are too tired from work to go look up whatever number the
season is at? thanks.
you must really be tired still since you haven't noticed that the current season
has actually *ended* so if you see any bsg for several months it won't be new.
also, the other eps had dsr in the title while these have hdtv and hr.hdtv...
that also tells you what quality they are. if you're too tired to notice that,
what makes you think you'd notice repost in the title.
lastly, the title/filename is as per the scene release and i don't think the
scene release groups really care whether you're tired or whether you download
something you shouldn't because you couldn't read the filename... they're harsh
like that.
thanks for the heads up i will grab the hr's instead....wasn't going to because
im a bandwidth whore and i need it for other stuff, but it will look great on my
new 37" lcd 🙂
perhaps tired was poor wording but you catch my drift - i do understand and
usually check that these are re-releases and now being told that bsg has ended
for the season i'll know to avoid them for the next few months but still i guess
i was trying to save some of the confusion that comes with re-releases of old
material at higher resolutions. for instance if i release tv show s02e14 hr you
would need to look up that tv show, find out what episode they are up to or
alternatively what resolution they have been releasing at until now (and even
then you are making an assumption that the latest ep isn't available high
quality). i get the fact it's a scene standard and all but still adding repost
(or something better) for releases of eps that aren't the latest deals with all
confusion, is clear, and saves looking up if it's a new ep.
meh this is the first time i've accidentally grabbed one of these re-releases
anyawy and now i'll know to avoid seeing as s3 has ended.
'hdtv' is the only information needed in the torrent title, it's the highest
capping source you can get, which means the best end rip you can get, so
it's 'the' replacement for all other rips that were lesser quality.
saying 'repost' would be like saying it's a re-release of the exact same rip,
it's not, it's a new rip from a higher quality source.
and for those waiting for new content, it's going to be one long wait, bsg got
picked up very late, so no new series until next year, except maybe a made for
tv movie very late this year...
dude, chill. you must be new or something. they are better quality
hdtv rips capped in the uk, and they are a little behind with the episodes.
scifi doesn't broadcast hd in america. for more info read some of the bsg hdtv
posts. and besides, you're the one that downloaded the torrent. how is that
eztv's fault?
actually, they may be broadcast in the uk, but i believe they are actually being
broadcast on universal hd as well, which is not available where i live (maybe on
satellite who knows,i like watching tv when it rains). you can go to
universalhd.com/series/ and see it there.
"i get the fact it's a scene standard and all but still adding repost
(or something better) for releases of eps that aren't the latest deals with all

you seem to be missing the entire point. these aren't old episodes at all, they
are the very latest episodes aired on sky one in the uk, which happens to air
the show in hd. yes, you may have seen newer episodes on sci-fi, but that
doesn't make these caps old. they are brand new, and hence adding repost would
both be stupid and wrong. if you've been following the series, you must surely
have noticed that the season ended?? (what a finale!) the show returns in the us
in january.
as i suspected, another less than impressive 350mb encode, looked a little
better than last weeks effort, but it's still borderline in terms of picture
quality, it's amazing that a 350mb 'lost' encode can look so good, and these
bsg encodes just look so bad in the exact same rip size.
i'm switching to the 700mb hr rips next week, so i'm hoping eztv keep up with
the hr rips for the rest of the season...
