for every critic or person who did not like the show, there
appeaers to be many more who would disagree with them. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt3079768/
i'd have to agree. i've never seen legion, and i only made it halfway through this first episode. i could see
how some might like it, but it's just not for me.
look, i despise christian fantasy- but episode one of dominion was well crafted, acted, and
scripted. unlike much of television, it didn't suffer from an "idiot plot"- you know, where the
plot only works or makes sense if people are idiots. here the characters spoke to what was on
their mind- and that included at least what would naturally occur to the viewer. high budget, and
much better than it needed to be if the only concern was eye candy. if the story line continues to
advance at a quick pace, i will look forward to future episodes.
it wasn't horrible. despite being an atheist i do love the "angel war" story in its various
incarnations, so i'll keep watching... for a time at least. that said, i doubt this is going to
continue to be a hit of any sort and think the best case scenario is probably 2 season with the more
likely outcome being cancellation after this first order is wrapped.
