maybe one day i'll have a system that i can work out what you're all on about, but i just dont get it at the moment. how can you justify twice the size (not bagging here) for a perceived quality increase ? its not like you're getting 3d images, with a sound that gives you any better immersion into the story than the 350meg quality one does, is it ? if so, how ?? i must be missing something, but im actually glad i am in a way, because regardless of what quality rip i watch, i still love the show and the eps i watch are still as good as i need and i get them in half the time. i've been forced to get the 600+ meg eps before, and in my honest opinion, i just cant justify the size. again im not bagging anyone, hell if you get a better experience for it, who is to say otherwise, but i cant see it.. ;) but difference is what makes us all tick !! |

hr = half resolution (1/2 of 1920x1080i, which is 960x540) also, 720p quality kicks hr's arse, but the file sizes are around 1.4gb if you realy wany quality, go for the ts releases (transport stream). this is the original broadcast which isn't re-encoded. they are usually around 4gb, but look stunning |

especially with smallville as they make encodes at 679mb instead of 700mb which really shows with blocky quality and thats why nbs are a crap group. go for ctu or try to find an internal release. |
