Lost is causing problems again

can someone who is in charge read the messages re ep 13 of lost the 350 mb
version.it is causing problems and did last time also.thank you

and what are we to do about it? mysteriously cap it again?

i had a problem with this weeks episode crashing wmp at 10:13. turned out it was
ffdshow's aud-x mp3 decoder library, changed it to one of the other ones and it
worked fine.

played great in my divx player too. last weeks episode kept stoppin after 4
seconds, which was annoying, so i has to play it in the laptop. think that was
the dvd i stuck it on though.

caph's lost ep 13 is not encoded like the ep12 they released earlier. ep13
plays ok on my standalone, which would freeze a few seconds into ep12.

the key is the interleave factor used to create the avi file. many standalones
can only handle a 1 frame interleave, as they don't have the memory to hold 15
video frames before getting any sound, (which is what ep12 did).

newer or more expensive standalones might handle ep12 ok, but not the
older/cheaper ones.

in either case ep13 will play ok on them - it doesn't have the same problem.
