can't stand the buzzing from the other release.

no buzzing, cool, that makes a change!

does anyone know if there was a proper 'proper' of 3x18? one version had the
poor sound while the so called proper one had no buzzing, but abysmal video quality.

ach... there is just no pleasing some people 😉

here's what you do.... two media players... you put one playing the video, one
playing the audio.... then you put the lime in the coconut....

or maybe you just deal with it

the buzzing audio is simply bad capturing, but the 'abysimal video quality' is
only because it's dsr.

hdtv will be out too, only these releases are a few weeks/episodes behind. so
either wait over a month, or watch this one.

well unless whoever is complaining is sticking their face right up against the
screen, the quality is more than sufficient for a freakin' tv show!

actually, no that isn't it. i'm fully aware that dsr quality isn't as good as
hd, but 3x18 had even worse video quality than normal dsr. if you looked at the
watermark logo, for example at 1:1 resolution, you can see it's already highly
aliased (jaggy) and then blurred as if to improve things. i wouldn't be posting
if the encode was at normal dsr quality. anyway, i guess i will have to wait for
the hd as there appears to be nothing better. thanks to others for their smart
arse comments.

sound is great, but like last week, the video is much worse than orenji's,
because 2sd uses a shitty "nearest neigbor" resizing method instead of a decent
(but more cpu-consuming) method like bilinear resizing. (indeed, see the ragged
edges of the station-logo).

i hope someone propers this, because my ears are hurting from the orenji release
and now my eyes are bleeding 😛
