it's a low budget show because most shows on uk tv are of comparatively low
budgets, particularly those not shown on the 5 analogue-terrestrial channels
first. even big uk shows aren't shot in hd (dr. who, for example), and digibeta
is alive and well. this also isn't made by the bbc.
btw, for the record, i do actually live in the uk.
