Tune up the volume!

been taking torrents from here for some time now.. really happy with all this!

there is just one little thing...

my ears do not work as good as they supposed to.. 50% hearing loss on both
sides. i don

no one on this site is actually responsible for capping shows so you are wasting
your breath.

although, if you use vlc (videolan.org), or media player classic (google.com)
you can give the sound a boost. also, if it's the larger (700mb+) files you're
talking about, you need to boost the ac3filter volume. google.com can provide
you with answers to any questions about the above.

yeah.. i kinda figured. just wanted to give it a shot.. you never know, right?

damn if i turned my tv up all the way with one of the shows on this site i would
be deaf. just get a better tv or speakers, your set must be really cheap.

i dunno much about the technicalities of audio ... but what exactly is the use
of ac3? it plays havock with non ac3 files and ac3 files practically cant be
heard without the filter installed. why do people encode with it? what
purpose is it actually meant to serve? is it a special 5.1 encode? please
explain ... :s
