there are no 350mb versions -- the 700mb file is the "standard" for this show
because it's a full hour.

thanks for that. a full hour to me is 44mins after adds taken out so you are
saying that cos its bbc then its a full hour in total cos they dont have adds

@hounddog - are you starting at episode 4? or have you seen any of the previous
episodes? if you have seen *any* of the previous life on mars episodes, you
should already know how long they last.
anyway, these are 1 hour long (or at least around 58 minutes). plus the bit-rate
is slightly higher than the us shows.

i grabbed the 1st series off demonoid a few weeks back. they were about 450mbs each. 8 eps in all.

but, further, thanks to eztv for this most excellent service, and to the heroic
efforts of the uploaders.
great tv show. i like the high-quality encoding: 700 megs per hour is/would be a
great standard to maintain everywhere. i like also the fact that the end-credits
are left to go with the music -- i wish the american uploaders would do the same
thing, especially on thing like entourage.
here's a thought: bbc-canada, one of canada's sleazy cable-only tv
stations broadcasts life on mars, about a week late; this would be okay, except
that they cut 15 minutes out of every episode to accommodate the commercials,
because bbc-canada has nothing at all to to with the real beeb, they've just
licensed the brand name. even pbs isn't as sleazy. so beware of
imitations; none genuine unless signed by the fish.
