usa. if money is your most important issue you are a. stupid, and b.
shortsighted. what about other 'scams' like the war in iraq, which is costing
billions a day? and what is that giving us except maybe a big more oil for our
suv's?

last century it has just gotten warmer, no fluctuation whatsowever. things are
heating up at a rate that will give trouble for some people in some countries
at some point in the future. but why the hell would an american citizen worry
about that? as long as he/she can keep up her decadent lifestyle and die of
obesity or some sort of 'deluxe' cancer while using up as many recources as
possible.

maybe this is not about global warming at all, maybe it is about common sense.
the sense that something has to change, that we as a species can better
ourselves. but some people never will, they won't even see it.

oh please, i'm not even american. i'm dutch and by money i meant the eu, and yes
it is billions and still counting. i can't do anything about the war in iraq and
i can't stop it. though you can't compare this at all, you can at least see
those billions funneled in iraq (and no i don't condone war) at work, be that
war be that 'rebuilding iraq' (i know you don't believe that anyway cause
america is the big bad demon). the billions funneled into 'global warming' leads
to nothing whatsoever.

and really i don't need you to tell me what fluctuate means. maybe because of
industry it's just getting warmer than normally (cause as i said i don't
disagree that humans do play a part in it all) and eventually it wil lower
again. i don't know and i'm pretty sure that you don't either.

americans always get blamed for everything it's just annoying, i don't even
consider that as an argument anymore. "americans don't want to change their
lifestyle" or that they use up more resources than any other country. it's not
all their fault, american city's lie miles apart, they have no other means of
transportation than by car. also, europeans are just as bad as them, do britains
radically change their lifestyle? germans? the dutch? no. none of us do. and
because you, a single individual do, you can't use that as an argument because
a. nobody cares. b. it doesn't have an impact on the world or help those some
people in those some countries.

first of all. the global warming is a scam!
no when that's said. i wan't to point out something else.

one of the ppl who lives in my school campus area turns of the light on the
kitchen all the time. for some reason she just have to do it. to protect the
enviroment she says.
then she wonders off feeling well because earth is going to survive one more day
she thinks...

well let me tell you something: ( btw i have tried telling her this, but for
some reason i doesn't seem to reach her:( )

first off all, we are a pretty small country with about 5 million habitants, and
maybe a million appartments. so turning off the light in one apartment (on the
kitchen) is saves maybe 10% of the power of one apartment. (since heating
apartment takes much more power then a stupid light ball does.)

meaning: 0.1/1 000 000 = 0.00000001 less power usage in norway..
this really helps on the enviroment! yay.
and now i havent mentioned the heavy industri, which consumes much much more
power then a regular apartment does.

so what does this do... well it only makes the light ball burn out much faster,
which again will poison this earth. and makes me confused because i have to turn
on the light everytime i want to go and make me some food (which is quite often).

and the most ironic part of all of this is. allmost everything in norway is
powered by wather power, which again does not posion this world.

and due to the fact that we don't pay any extra for the power where we live,
makes me just think of her as very stupid!...

i just had to say this 🙂

i don't really see where you are going with that "dihydrogren monoxide" is
dangerous in large doses? yes you die from it if you drink large amount without
visiting the restroom for quite some time, but it is not lethal otherwise.

seriously, it is obvious that we are causing global warming. after thinking
about it for a while it kinda make sense. and this is very, very good. and here
is why:

first of all. i have to ask you, have you ever seen a polar bear? they are huge
and horribly scary. in a place called svalbard they have begun to die out, and
that is good. now, we don't need to be afraid of getting killed and eaten by
these hideous animals anymore every time we go to bed.

but then again, i don't live there so i don't really care about the polar bears.
and this is exactly the reason all of you anti-global warming idiots want to
stop this process of making the world a better place.

now let me tell you something (and this is a fact).
here where i live, we can have 3 meters with snow in a winter, and personally i
would like to see that go away. with global warming, we actually have a chance,
now we have found a way to prevent snow in the winter, and cold winters of course.

now when this is said. i would recommend everyone to start poisoning this world,
and help us turn up the heat here in north norway. give us some god damn long
sought for heat!

totally agree with you kephunk.
now if we stop cows from farting,piss on all the volcanos and extinguish them
and we all stop breathing out co2 then what a wonderful world this would be.:)
most of the furore is,once again,media led...remember a short while ago 4" of
snow in the middle of winter warranted the bbc to send up a helicopter to show
us brits aerial pictures.wow...with other looney groups,sorry
environmentalists giving out warnings of gloom and doom and then there are
governments(in particular the uk government)jumping at the opportunity to
stealth tax everything in sight irrespective of any dubious beneficial effects
on the quantity of co2 emmissions,just to fill the black hole in gordon
brown's mismanagement.however that's another story.
just remember that in spite of a long-term ice age millions of years ago,and a
direct hit from a missile from out there,life goes on.

if you have any doubt that human being actions affect the climate,why not take
a holiday in new zealand next summer.thanks to the governments of countries
like the usa, we now have a cavernous whole in the ozone layer
above "godzone".with burn times as little as 7 minutes and the highest
