Heroes S01E18 HR HDTV XviD-FpN

does anyone haved played this episode in a standalone dvd player??? because all
of these episodes made by fpn can not be played by my dvd player, i think he is
using the gmc or quartel-pixel tools and those options are not compatible with
many standalone dvd players..only the 350mb episodes work fine, but the quality
of the 700mb are excelent and better than the 350mb...please encode without
those options... please...

most standalone players can't play files with resolution bigger than 720x576,
and hr.hdtv releases are 960x540 pixels. also, scene standards do not allow use
of q-pel, gmc and custom matrices, which are the options that could break
compatibility with standalone players.

anyway, you can use gspot or mediainfo to show information about pretty much
any media files.

the problem only shows up if you're using spdif passthrough - if you don't know
what spdif is then you're not using it.

though these hr releases always tend to be a little... quiet... on my
headphones. i have to boost the volume to the max to get anything out of the
thing. hm.

i am using spdif passthrough with an audigy 2 zs platinum with windows media
player 10 using ac3filter 1.11. i have not had problem with either this ep or
the past, the ac3 seems ok for me. it shows up as dolby surround on my
receiver. maybe try installing the latest ac3filter. hope that helps.

anyone know how many episodes there are in the first season of heroes? and when
the second season will start?

image is incredible on 1080p set, best encoding of video yet, but i do get audio
drops playing it through xbmc.

i wish i could learn to encode video like this.

i hope these fpn rips get nuked, its a waste of everyone's bandwith because of
the somehow altered ac3 track

is there any reason why after playing this that my audio is causing problems on
my pc?
i get a frequent "zzz" (as in every second get a short "zzz") that slows down my
pc, cursor jerks, gaming jerks, video and audio jerks.

it happened after playing this video. i've tried uninstalling and reinstalling
both my audio drivers and codecs.
