this is odd, will have to watch. there was no canada in 1812. that war was brits vs. u.s. and u.s.
lost.

the entire area was referred to as canada
and appeared on maps in the mid 1500's as
canada.

there was no winner/loser of the war of 1812.

actually canada was a colony of britain at the time. canada didn't become an actual country until 1867
