Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader S01E03 PDTV XViD-YesTV

i downloaded this show without realising what it was. i was kind of expecting
an insightful documentary about the intelligence of youth; perhaps something
suitable for discovery channel or national geographic.

this is the total polar opposite - a trashy american game show, with an over
zealous host and hyperactive contestants whom get the simplest of questions
wrong yet erupt into an orgasmic state at the prospect of winning $1,000. to
add to the mix there are some annoyingly smart but energetic kids. the rules
are simple, the roaring crowd would be excited by paint drying and the show seem
thrown together for cheap laughs. my advice is don't bother.

interesting theory. i cannot imagine anyone wanting to seriously sit down and
spend 30 minutes of their life watching this trash. not with any rationale anyway.

lighten up, its just a redneck like comedy show.
gets a decent amount of downloads. i don't see why people have to tell us how
they hate it considering not everyone likes every show out.

lighten up guys, it's called entertainment. some people are truly as bright as
they seem...

fox: how many e's are in this phrase "pledge of allegiance"
contestant: "pledge" has 2, 1 in "the"...
this went on four or five times, before the contestant go it...

or have i entered the twilight zone?! haha!

i also find it entertaining to see how dumb some people are

i find it depressing.

i am in uk. this show is even worse than anything on itv, and that is really
saying something.

well, so far it's a big hit in the ratings.

i really dont understand how it achieves ratings. this show is horrible. jeff
foxworthy is a terrible host and the who game show stinks.

its more than likely that your "classmate" will get the answer correct. knowing
this you can win at least 5k if the kid knows their stuff.

okay, so count me in the easily amused group. although i admit, most of my
entertainment is watching my husband (a pharmacist) and my daughter (an
attorney) miss the questions.

i think maybe one thing that freaks the contestants is knowing the older of us
never had "new math" (different sort of teaching of math in the mid '60s) and
the younger of us weren't necessarily taught the facts of things, just how to
estimate (in math) or research out the answer (in anything else).

anyway, i think this show is a hoot. and yeah, i've always been easily amused.

the guy that thought of this show is from long island new york the home of
howard stern who is the original creator of this game/show

i hope he sues them just because
