i really dont know what to think about what this shows going to be like.. im a massive
fan of the hannibal films, but a tv show? im not sure if its going to work. my thoughts
on this.. and i dont know why but dexter keeps popping into my mind everytime i read
something about this show.
i personally think its gonna be like how the film - silence of the lambs was, where the detective
was going to lecter for help in catching the tooth fairy, but in this case it'll probably be some
sick killer every episode and lecter probably knows them, or taught them; or he probably
just has some insight into how the killers mind works which in the end will catch the killer.
it just all sounds pretty boring to me, but saying that... i'll definatly give the show a few episodes
chance before i make my mind up wether its any good or not, even tho im not the biggest gillian
anderson fan. so as for now im quite looking forward to the airing of this show and judging by the time
slot it has, im guessing its going to be quite graphic and violent.
yay! another show for me to watch.. i'll add it to my other 17 shows im watching.. lol
looking at the age of this wil graham, i suspect it will be a pre-quel to the movies. so a young lecter still
doing his killings. that means its going to be an on-going hunt for a single criminal - criminal minds but
one long single case.
just another case of un-originality. as soon as one network puts on a show about an fbi agent chasing
down a serial killer - another has to do it. by 2014 there will probably be 3 more knock-offs.
the first movie with william peterson as wil graham was the best.
dexter is a hit. let's give this one a chance also!!
doesn't automatically mean that another serial-killer show will be a huge succes. after let's say er, how
many failed doctor-shows have there been? or cop shows, or legal drama's?
now, the name "hannibal lecter" will put some asses on the couch, but if it doesn't live up to expectations,
it will bomb hard. personally, i don't see it work. the last hanibal movies where milking it, and a show on
network tv won't raise the bar back to sotl level.
