amid rumors of cancellation, on january 14, 2013 producer edward kitsis countered the rumor by
stating: "i don't know what the future [of tron: uprising] is now. i know at the present, i can say we
need more viewers."
actually, i'm not surprised by this. they have so many talented voice actors that obviously aren't cheap. a
few weeks ago i said had my doubts about this show surviving contract negotiations plus the show airs on
a little known cable channel with little to no advertisement or buzz. if it weren't for this site i never would
have known it existed.
the only way this show is going to survive is by generating buzz (and they have great talent so why not?)
also they have to move it to abc family or a primetime slot on abc or even try making it an online series
and hoping that it goes viral.
i agree. as i've said before, the premise is great. love or hate the preceding movie; the show is
dark and compelling. like batman beyond + tron. hopefully it goes for another season because, by
the episode, it's only been getting better.
god, i'm old. the transformers was the last cartoon that i really enjoyed.
this came along and it has a really compelling in depth story line along with all of the back story
going in to augment it.
it's more like a good soap opera than a kido cartoon. i was really hoping we could get a few more
years out of it.
i guess it's just to comprehensive for the kids in the time slots they tried it in for them to get
interested.
anyhow it was a great attempt to keep the defender of the grid alive!
i'd have to agree with you there segadora not really a kids cartoon i really enjoy this program i like sci fi much better than the over
the top reality tv garbage they show here in nz
