now is this a new series or just that tv-movie from 2012?

originally a pilot for a tv series that space comissioned,
but later they decided not to continue as a full series.
they took what they had and made it into a tv movie.

even though it's a failed series, turned into a movie,
most of what i've read on variouis blogs has been positive.

that was quite interesting.

can you really call it a movie when it doesn't have a proper ending ?

only thing missing is the "to be continued".

why was it cancelled in productions ?

for a movie/tv series it was frustrating to watch and got poor story, characters and lines but nothing worse
than what syfy is making.

do i dare to say that a tv channel, space, actually got some quality standards ?
what will happen next? they will cancel the crappy reality tv series and replace it with something worh
watching?
is the world coming to and end soon?

i found it a little boring...

i found this to be a very good "future earth scifi" tvmovie/series-pilot and wish most
ardently for a continuation.

this could be continued, it entertained me without to much "effing this and effing that".
good futuristic plot.

i liked it despite a few flaws.. it might make it as a series as long as it wasn't episode after
episode of trying to find ways to fit in some wrestling moves.. maybe the powers that be felt that's
the way it would end up and that's why it was scrapped.

canada does several thing well:
hockey, lacrosse
beer, poutine, peameal bacon
and futuristic tv. i previously took a winning gamble on "continuum", i scored again with "borealis".

trust the canadians to make a science fiction show practically devoid of science fiction.

why do people insist "science fiction" absolutely must include blasters and spaceships? talk about
cliched thinking... any and every story is about people first, everything else is just a flavor.

borealis is a great show i sincerely enjoyed, it portrayed several great characters, deep and vivid.
there were drama, murders, hard choices, life risking and politics, secrets, investigation and
manipulation. it was fun. i wish it was going into series.

i liked the idea of the show if not the execution of it, lots of potential. shame they made a mess of it. something that could
given some decent writers turn out ok.
