the premise does sound slightly ridiculous, but i actually enjoyed it. worth a look to see how this
goes for a few episodes at least.

enigmatic ex-con (antony starr (from outrageous fortune nz)) who by chance assumes the role of the
town sheriff.
he is being hunted by people from his past while taking on the role as sheriff to impose his own
brand of justice, while in this position of power he cooks up plans that serve his own interest.

i definitely enjoyed it! i to was put of by the description of it, but it has a good plot, excellent
actors, and the photo was nice. def. worth watching!

total ripoff and a very misleading title. not a single banshee in the whole episode, not even
something slightly supernatural or irish. i am dissapoint.

only one ep so far but its looking to be a damn good show
not sure about the "martial arts expert" description, i think hes just a guy that learned how to fight in 15
years of prison time
the premise reminds me a tiny bit of one of my favorite movies, "miami blues"
but this show has lots of potential.. im looking forward to more
