yup, i had to laugh when this dialog appeared, it was just so obviously a less
than veiled sideswipe at the execs show cancelled the show. i've never heard
it referred to as a network of planets before but it's obvious what they were
talking about:
sam: "the truth is the stargate programme just doesn't get the support it used
to from the people in charge."
jacek: "that's too bad, because after all your stargate programme has
accomplished for this network of planets, i would think the decision makers
would show it the respect it deserves."

the end is finally neigh for sg-1 ☹️
too bad .. such a shame.
but then ... there is nothing worse than seeing a great tvshow thin out into a
horrible franchise in overkill-mode.
the end will be painful. especially the part where we have to wait untill
those dvd movies come out. atlantis will still be here, but without an anchor
in the sol galaxy i can't imagine usage of things like the gate-bridge...
then again i'm sure stargate will grow even further. i wonder what the third
series will be about if it ever gets on the air. perhaps the stargate universe
can create a somewhat star-trekkish show about the midway-station and the
spaceships they have 🙂 haha they can call it "deep stargate nine" 😛
