syfy replaced haven with eureka. the equipment was scheduled to cap that time slot. evolve apparently
was unaware of the schedule change and released it as scheduled.
it's a shame that some of you are moaning that someone made an error over a tv show. it's also an
awful shame that haven was postponed because someone went beserk with agun and murdered some
innocent little children and their innocent school teachers. if you really want to moan, how about
this: that in the richest country in the world, a man last night went and slaughtered innocents.
perhaps the network felt it was insensitive to show this program under those circumstances. perhaps
all concerned with haven felt this way.
when i got up this morning my wife told me what had happened in connecticutt, and i almost cried.
perhaps whoever posted that show didn't bother to it because they were watching the news. it's not
important.
at all
i live in the uk and haven isn't on network tv here. what was on the news though was that cowardly
man who killed those little children. perhaps if you take a moment to consider how their parents
might feel, and those around them, you may perhaps realise that whether you see episode 12 of haven
series three, ever is actually immaterial. i wonder if the stars of that show are raging because it
wasn't shown, i doubt it.
please don't moan about something so insignificant.
20 little children died needlessly under horrific circumstances vs. haven
not to inflame anyone but children die every day. in the 3rd world counties, in africa. and no one
gives a flying... khem. this tragedy is no more tragic than any other, it just happened to be picked
up by media (why this one and not the china's school knife attacks, for example?). shit happens
literally every day. no reason to stop living and burst into tears for every bad thing happening out
there. and i certainly don't see how not showing an episode of a tv show is helping anyone to cope
with trauma.
as for the boonesferry burst. man, when you make a mistake (even if it is not your personal fault,
but someone else's mishap), you stand up and admit it. you don't rage at person who noticed it. even
if he was rude doing so. you are right, i don't know nothing on how "scene" operates and why. but do
not go to scene people, i go to this site with reasonable expectations of valid content. scene might
be doing what it does "just because", but you are running this site for visitors, am i right?
there was a mistake, it happens so relax
lots of people being 'dickish' on both sides
there shouldn't even be sides, we all love tv / torrents
as for the 'porn rant' guy, if bandwidth is that important then wait an hour before downloading
anything. any mistakes (not just wrong file/show but if a proper/repack is needed) are commented on
pretty fast
sadly they seem to care about racing each other to be first above quality
anyway.. thanks for whatever you have released, at 3k i'm sure iv'e downloaded something of yours.
i don't really know much about 'the scene' but it seems like something is needed to get in.
afg aren't in and i've downloaded tons of their files which are great.
as boones said, not many of us have researched 'the scene' & i'm 1 of them. i do know that they
don't care about torrent users, if they don't care about us why should we care about them?
i have been downloading from this site for years. over this time i would have downloaded thousands of
shows for myself and family. the amount of errors that i can remember aside from this one. none. i
am not saying there havent been any, just that they are inconsequential.
people dedicate a lot of time to be able to bring you these torrents. some of the processes are
automated. eg programs/recorders that autmotically remove ad's. just because they upload the shows,
doesnt mean that they watch them for personal viewing.
you do receive these services for free. yes you use your bandwidth blah blah blah..who cares! the
point being that you receive these services for free. you are not 'entitled' to them, therefore you are
not entitled to bitch someone out who makes a minor error.
personally i have never watched eureka. within the first 30seconds i knew something wasnt right. i
grabbed my ipad and went to tv.com and seen that the haven episode this torrent claimed to be has
been pushed back until january 31st. i then came on here to let people know that the torrent wasnt
correct.
what i found was all this arguing about a minor mistake made.
if you truly want to argue about something...argue about america's gun laws, that make it way to easy
for these tragedies to happen.
to those who upload these torrents, i thank you. ignore the idiots whining over a mistake that is so
miniscule.
my apologies, it wasn't about being morally superior, or anything else. my point was that the
network felt that it was inappropriate to show that episode of the show. as was stated above, there
was an error made and it was the first one the user had seen. i've used this site for much longer
than 2 years and it's the first error i've seen too.
my annoyance was at the amount of moaning. i'm certainly not taking any moral highground - i'm a
recovering alchoholic and addict, so i'm on a rather slippery slope. i just don't like people to
complain about nothing.
as i said in the previous post it's all rather insignificant at the moment, whether the media picked
up on the sandy hook shootings or not, it was a needless, terrible tragedy.
also i remember this sort of stuff happened a while back and the forums got closed, for a long time.
as of december 15, 2012 -- saturday -- 9:06 pm (pst)
there is no official word on if/when episode 12, or episode 13, will be broadcast.
i am frequently checking multiple sources for new information, including... syfy, haven's facebook
page, haven's twitter feed, several haven cast member twitter feeds, tvline, tvbythenumbers, tvrage,
wiki, thefutoncritic, etc..
the rumored dec 20th & 21st air dates found on wikipedia, and a few blogs, are incorrect, the citation
given on wikipedia was in error or false, and has been noted.
i have not been able to verify the rumored date of january 31st with a credible source.
i do see it mentioned on tv.com and then copied to several blogs, however, tv.com is not an official
soure. i have used tv.com in the past when researching changes in schedules and imo they are often
incorrect and/or slow to update their information.
please, if you have any credible information (with citation) please drop me a message at: http://eztv.it/pm/inbox/create/120583/
or post it here in this forum, but please cite your source(s).
the rumored dec 20th & 21st air dates found on wikipedia, and a few other places who were quoting
wikipedia, are incorrect, the citation given was in error or false.
well pooh. way to burst the bubble, lol.
just curious... knowing that it is not the file as advertised, would it be possible to remove it from the list of
downloads so more people don't mistakenly download it? or is that not possible once it's been added?
you can see *i* know next to nothing about the techy side of this... >.< lol
my biggest frustration in this whole thing is that i had to let the torrent run and upload to other
unsuspecting folks just to keep my share ratio up. so here's the question portion of tonight's post: can
someone tell me, if i delete torrent and data if that then totally clears it from my system so it doesn't
affect my share ratio?
a couple people have raised a very valid point/question,
why doesn't eztv remove this (or other nuked releases) from its site?
i wish i had an answer, but unfortunately all i have are guesses. the person who would know (site
admin novaking) is away for a couple weeks... i'll put the question on my list for when nk returns.
meanwhile, i'll poke a couple people on the torrent team and see what they have to say.
