sadly, sounds run of the mill.. ☹️

it's based on a brilliant series of books,if they manage to stick mostly to the books this will be damn good.

so im 30 minutes into the episode and i love it ,so very different from the usual police/crime
procedurals,the visuals are stunning but that's to be expected as seville is a beautiful city,great soundtrack
music,the lead actor is excellent,many will remember him from lord of the rings movies where he played
the role of the elven husband of galadriel (cate blanchett).

i would recommend this show to those who are bored of the usual by-the-numbers police procedurals.

woah woah woah, hold up... read a book?!?!?! who the hell would ever do something crazy like that.

just messing, i've read the series. i think having read the books gave me a different perspective
and definitely some more insight, but i think it could be enjoyable as just a stand alone mini series.

looking forward to episode 2....when ever that will be.
