Burn Notice 6x11 + 6x12 (HDTV-x264-2HD)

whats this? new episodes out of the blue or is it old ones?

oh, its back after a break. i thought burn notice where a summer show!

guys, it is just me? or that this video file was encoded weirdly?
it should have a thumbnail like most video files but it doesn't.
it doesn't mean it can't play on my computer or anything.
i'm not complaining. i just need an explanation why
it doesn't have thumbnail like the past 2hd releases.
so far, the 2hd releases i have that do not thumbnails
are this one and covert.affairs.s03e13.hdtv.x264-2hd.
also, would there be any other future releases for affected eps of this problem?

just downloaded this and it wont play on my pc or my xbox ? whats going on there ????

reminder: eztv has no contact with "the scene". eztv does not cap (record) tv shows and has no
control over what shows are chosen by the scene, the container (file format), the video resolution (sd
or 720p), or the season/episode numbering scheme, etc.. these are all functions of the scene, not
eztv. what eztv does...is... post links to torrents of scene releases.

this sd (standard definition) release is fine.
the 720p for this episode, which eztv has not posted, was nuked and a successor released.
if you are experiencing playback issues, you may have a corrupt download,
delete the file and re-download.

if their is anything wrong with the file then the file is nuked and a proper is released

i doubt that, although it's certainly a good official stance.

there must be people on this planet who can talk to "the scene", and someone associated with a major
distribution channel is certainly more likely to gain that ability than joe average. although, back
in the old days, sd-6 even had an open irc channel (and at least one that required invites).

many years ago (no idea whether that's still the case), "the scene" didn't even do anything for the
public -- "they" claimed it's just for them. luckily, even then, stuff "leaked" like crazy, and
apparently they didn't do much to stop those "leaks" :-) i found stonecutter releases to be somewhat
difficult to come by, though, so maybe they didn't care about "leaks" either, but didn't blow holes
into their walls to encourage them :-)



well, they have control over what they distribute :-) for example, eztv decides to distribute the
720p for some shows, and not for others; for burn notice in particular it appears they don't really
like the show, so they chose not to distribute the 720p.

i've also seen propers that eztv chose not to distribute, even though they did distribute the nuked
version. again, that's a choice they made.

you are, of course, completely correct in saying that eztv simply distributes the files they get,
with no editing, re-encoding (like making an xvid from a h264), re-packaging (like making an avi
from an mkv) or other manipulations.

hi! i'm from argentina, and we don't have some of the series that you have on tv. i think we all should be
grateful that we have this.

of course, if you do something, do it right, but, so far, i haven't had any trouble. so thank you eztv for
bring us this torrents from the mighty and unreachable "the scene".
