any reason in particular for the gradual increase in file size for this series?

s03e01 = 333mb
s03e02 = 405mb
s03e03 = 434mb

when i saw that i got confused because i was pretty sure the first episode was 300megs
then i checked with the second episode and i thought there was no problem.
they are increasing the quality so thats why. (sense of sarcasm)

the focus is on quality, not size.
quality is set (not changing), file size will vary.

file size is tied to the complexity of the source material (i.e. still vs. moving, grainy vs solid, number of
colors, etc.), and how much compression can be applied to any given frame and still maintain the fixed
quality setting (crf).
