it sounds like you got a bad torrent seed like me. i've seen these for
battlestar galactica as well now - it's totally fake. not only that, the
program they want you to download to get the password to open the rar file is
nothing more than a virus... and you will get no password to open the rar file
(it is fake anyways; it doesn't contain the movie). they typically like to
release their bogus files an hour or so before the legit ones are listed, so be
suspicious of torrents listed unusally early.
you have been warned (haha, i just was dying to say that for some reason ;d )
the torrent file i downloaded was called lost.s03e09.hdtv.xvid-xor [eztv].rar
which was the bogus one... the lesson being: never download tv shows that are
packed in .rar's (at least, all the legit ones i've seen have been simply
.avi's...).
foremost though, just wait for the torrent to appear on eztv... i have gone
through much headache trying to save myself 5 minutes of time by finding the
torrent files elsewhere before eztv posts them, only to find that they are
either fakes or have some other problem (quality, etc..)
just wondering since recently the most popular shows seemed to have had a 720p
release available at the same time, if not earlier than an hr release. wondering
if i should avoid the urge to get the hr one just so i can watch and get the 720
later or just wait.
wondering exact same thing than inger. usually those 720p -releases have been
here allmost same time than normal (about 350mb) and those hr (about 750mb),
but now it seems like 720p is a bit late.
ty for information that it is actually still coming 🙂
even that hr -release looks a bit crappy when you wach it from 100" screen
via home cinema hd (1280x720) -projector.
