any idea whats changed in the proper?

the variable volume levels, i imagine.

if you play the first release on your pc, with vlc, or similar player, you may or may not experience
any audio issues, and might not need to download the proper.

tla's release has 6 channel audio at 315 kbps.

the audio that was used on the first release was not allowed per,
"the sd x264 tv releasing standards 2012".

i'm hoping the proper will also resolve the issue some of you were experienceing on stand alone
players. perhaps someone will comment after downloading the proper.

it certainly wasn't because of multi channel audio being used the scene sd guide doesn't state your not allowed multi channel
audio so i assume it was nuked for non volume normalization

i have not played the previous release so i dont know anything about the audio levels, but two things
that stand out for me are the bitrate and stereo.

the term "stereo", although popularised in reference to two channel audio, can also be properly used to
refer to surround sound, as it strictly means "solid" (actually meaning 3 dimensional sound) sound.
however this is no longer a common usage and "stereo sound" is almost exclusively used to describe
two channel, left and right, sound. six channels would be a 5.1 surround system. (source: wikipedia)

i have it on high authority that the use of the word "stereo" in the sd tv releasing standards does
refer to 2 channel stereo.

line 63: average bitrate on aac audio must be 96 - 160 kbps.
line 64: aac audio must be normalized and downconverted to stereo

i read that whole thing it still does not explicitly say that 5.1 ch audio is not allowed for sd

no torrent for the christmas special? i see the link to "direct download" but that tries to
download an exe file.
