bullet in the face is an american dark comedy television series. it premiered on ifc on august 16, 2012. it
follows an ex-con, gunter vogler, who is recruited into the police force when he is betrayed by his partner
and lover.

producer alan
spencer (sledge hammer!: sledge, rattle 'n' roll) developed the series with producers and executive
producers jesse prupas and evi regev of muse entertainment and just for laughs television. the cast
includes max williams as gunter vogler, neil napier as lieutenant karl hagerman, jessica steen as
commissioner eva braden, and kate kelton as martine mahler, alongside guest stars eddie izzard and
eric roberts as notorious crime lords. the series is directed and co-executive produced by erik canuel
and will debut on ifc in summer 2012.

following a botched jewel heist, sociopath criminal gunter vogler awakens in a hospital, surrounded by
cops, his head wrapped in bandages. when the bandages come off gunter's new face is revealed and
police force him to work undercover to take down the city's crime lords.

bullet in the face is produced by montreal's muse entertainment enterprises and just for laughs
television. executive producers for ifc are debbie demontreux, dan pasternack, jennifer caserta and
evan shapiro.

it looks to me like batman on a bad acid trip...
(and i hate fake french accents! we sure do suck at english, but we don't speak like this at all
when we try)

i think it was even supposed to be a german accent. aside from that the first ep seemed somewhat
promising.

when i saw that alan spencer was behind this (i loved sledgehammer in my student days), i had to
check this out. and it's got the same style but a lot darker - brilliant. thanks for the upload.

this may be the worst show of all time, which means it will probably have a longer run than mash. i
give it minus 9. i gave it higher than minus 10 just to leave room for the unlikely possibility
there may be something worse that comes along in this millenium, and voila, total recall, but that's
a movie. at least they don't repeat the same joke, over and over. at least they don't repeat the
same joke over and over. at least... (dope slap!) ow, thanks for that.

s01e06 was released by vtv (another tv torrent distribution group with which eztv sometimes
cooperates to maximise bandwidth and prolong torrent life) but for some unknown reason (probably an
automated bot failure) it did not post to eztv. the persons(s) who would manually make the correction
