i like this show but in the 5 weeks it's been on we've have 3 repacks.

unfortunately true, but what'cha gonna do. [shrugs]
eztv does not cap/record the shows. eztv only posts links to torrents of shows that were capped by the
scene...over which eztv has no control.

fingers crossed. hopefully no more nukes with this show for the rest of the season.

yeah it's the "i must be first! i must be first!"-thinking, where seconds matter. encoding can be
totally screwed, but at least it got out first.

well, actually it's just a matter of some kind of virtual penis.

in this case, i suspect the carelessness results from plain old-fashioned sloppiness rather than haste. for
canadian productions/programmes like this one, 2hd seems to be the only contender, so there really
shouldn't be any reason to hurry. *shrug*

at the end of the day this show is still good and if i have to download it twice so be it.
or i can not be so excited and wait 1 day to see if theres a repack.

well, whatever the reason, at least they do make repacks. if "the scene" values "fast" higher than
"good", i'm not sure they value "repack" all that high. "proper" is probably considered much cooler.

reminds me of sd-6. granted, it's been ages, but they released a lot of stuff tagged "internal"
because the rules didn't make a distinction between releases grabbed from analog vhs recorders and
"hey, you can still see something"-encoding, and high quality digital feeds with proper encoding
settings. impressively enough, they adopted a form of "quality over speed" policy even though it
meant not being "the first". a bit like stonecutters, still a lot faster, and i don't remember
"scene tags" on stonecutter files (after all, there's no need to be "scene"), and then there was the
whole thing of stonecutters not doing all that much at all, so they had enough time to make their
releases with menus and extras on the disks...

sure, nowadays everything is "hd", and thankfully, nobody would dare release an analog grab :-)
still, looking at it from europe where i don't get any of the stuff "directly", i wouldn't even
notice a "delay" caused by a bit of quality checking...

anyone know what the deal is with episode 6. its tuesday and still no sign of sundays ep

episode 6 premieres on july 8. they skipped a week.
