i deleted the first one and downloaded the repack already but i think the original was only a minute or
two longer, so there must have been only a few commercials and not 18 minutes of them...as is the
case with most one hour televised tv show.

cheers ๐
thanks for the update. i'm glad i didn't delete it :d
side note: i like it so far. hope it stays! i love me a good sci-fi show!
if you are refering to 9/11 then you are an asswipe....
maybe one day at work some nut job fanatics will visit your place of work and make you
a "good show"
if that is not what you meant then please clarify...
i think making a statement like that shows you must be a very, very stupid, imature child and you really
should be ashamed of yourself,a lot of mothers, fathers, sons, daughters, grand mothers, grand
fathers, firemen, cops and others died on 911 and idiot like you don't deserve the life your obviously
going to waste!
the incorporation of near-future tech is well done, particularly her body suit and bio-implants, which are
close to being a reality today.
i also think the story is founded in a premise that many people can relate to and it will be interesting to see
how her moral compass shifts as she begins to taste civil liberty (i assume/hope these conflicts will work
into the story).
this is a canadian show but it definitely hits home at america becoming a police state and examines the
price of freedom.
the domestic terrorist is a serious entity and i hope the show gives these characters more angles than just
"super killers".
in the real world, the war on terrorism is being paid for by american freedom and we all know that
domestic terrorists will become a greater threat than al qaeda ever was.
this show has a lot of potential to touch on some very sensitive topics and i hope they have the guts to go
there.
yep, deff a great episode and a great show. i love the future tech. its sad one of her toys broke
already though โน๏ธ.
id imagine that suit will wear down after a few episodes as well >.<!
just a side speculation: its funny how her implants only hold 32 hours of recorded footage. nowadays a
small harddrive can hold terrabytes (hundreds of hours of video if compressed properly), with
proccessors doubling every 2 years, in 60ish years they should be able to fit a zetabyte in a flash
drive! ๐
keep in mind that is 32 hours of full data, which means static and active in the equivalent of what would
be blu-ray quality video.
that would be a lot of raw data. in real world terms, the a/v alone would exceed 100g not to mention all
that ancillary information that her system picks up. if you assume scanning, zooming, and various other
processing features that would be required for crime fighting and fail-proof evidence, the data she is
storing is probably equivalent to a terrabyte or more.
and as there is probably some kind of physical burden with the bio implants, i think its a realistic limit.
edit: keep in mind also that it is a liquid chip so the size would be the equivalent to a tear drop.
my biggest thing is that time travel by humans (as opposed to light and data currently being tested)
probably won't be possible in 60-70 years. so you have to forgive that "minor" issue....
i'm not so sure about the suit powering down. it could be drawing power from radio waves as well as
body heat, friction and motion like a self winding watch.
the gun and all-purpose-multi-tool however wouldn't have those features. but could easily be using a
power cell that simply needs to be refilled with ethanol.
i don't get the bad guys. it's like a bunch of occupy hippies going around killing yer man at the
doorway because he wears a hat. why are they violent. hrmmeh. does not compute. then again, if yer
not a face eating bath salt gobbling neanderthall with no respect for the homeless or yer porn star
buddy, just what are ye these days!
look at where the bad guys come from, the world of capitalism fucked their lives up and they are angry,
the world they come from no longer has a moral compass or a fair judicial system, everything is run by
corporation that play almost as dirty as they do so there is no longer room for all sorts of humanitarian
actions, the only way they know how to make ruthless corporations note them is with extreme violence.

i think its safe to say the future tech acquired all sorts of power-sources we do not have today(or we
have but they are in prototype/research stages) and probably also extremely advanced
nanotech/nanomaterial applications.
the gun and multitool as well as the stealth camouflage are not that new, the deus ex universe had
them in 2027, 50 years earlier and the energy for them could be provided by contact with the suit
(seeing how the suit is able to build up enough charge to taser someone or project stuff using nleds
what i really don't get is how she gets the skin on her face to project a backimage? (how stealth camouflage is accomplished) or does her suit grows to encompass her face when she stealths?
as for memory storage in less than 50 years we were able to exponentially scale down the size and
increase the capacity of memory storage devices to something that was unimaginable 50 years ago, its
only logical to assume that it will keep getting better 60 years from now.
