in case anyone else wonders what this is:

"duets" is a one of a kind singing competition that takes the superstars out from behind the judge's panel
and onto the stage. the show is hosted by quddus (total request live) and stars the music industry's
biggest superstars. kelly clarkson, john legend, jennifer nettles, and robin thicke individually set out on
a journey across america looking for undiscovered talent worthy to be their "duet" partner. ultimately,
each superstar will choose two singers to be their duet partners. together, the superstar and their partner
will take the stage each week and perform in front of a live studio audience. in the end, only one duet will
be at the top of the charts and the winning amateur will receive a recording contract with hollywood
records.

established in the music industry to eventually get a music contract.. holy shit - this is truly one
of a kind!

never heard of robin thicke or jennifer nettles, had to google them so probably not for me.

that was close.. almost downloaded this. thanks for the warning. i usually grab any s01e01 that
turns up, but these shows are like little unhappiness bombs.

now that all the bashers who obviously dislike this type of show have had their fun letting us how who
they are and how they feel, perhaps someone who has actually watched it can comment 😛

...i would download, watch, and report back, but i'm all worn out after american idol season eleven
and don't think i have the strength to watch another singing show so soon.
