the series follows milo, a guy who has been recently dumped and tries to re-enter the dating scene with
the help of his three best friends/co-workers, tyler, gibbs and neal. together, the four friends help each
other navigate through relationships, friendship and working together at the same magazine.
i was hoping it was a charlie/emilio thing. i know the movie is pretty universally hated, but i
found it quite amusing. a touchy feely whiney emo version where they work at a magazine just
wouldn't be the same.
men at work, as well as being the title of the movie i mentioned, is the name of a band, the lyrics
to one of their more well known songs included "i came from a land down under" as well as something
about "vegemite sandwhiches." we get it, it's not funny, who cares?
agreed though, it's 100% about knowledge, and nothing to do with intelligence. it helps if you're
either australian, over 30, or both. that said, men at work, or at least the singer, did make an
appearance in scrubs a few years back.
anyway, this looks like another cookie cutter hollywood sit com that was about as funny as the op's
joke. shame really. an oppurtunity missed.
travelling in a fried-out combie
on a hippie trail, head full of zombie
i met a strange lady, she made me nervous
she took me in and gave me breakfast
and she said,
usually i give a show three or four ep's before i make up my mind. sometimes they grow on me. i like
all the actors in this show. it's weird to see adam busch as a good guy. usually he turns out to be the
asshole i.e. buffy. i think he might be good at comedy though.
