this is mislabelled!? according to imdb this is s06e08 and they mention another 6
episodes under season 6.
imdb is great for movie info, reviews, user ratings, etc., but they are
one of the most unreliable sites when it comes to tv show episode info.
terrible track record.
actually in this case imdb happens to be correct. if you go to the history channel website, they are
already selling the dvd/bluray for season 6 and it shows 14 episodes for season 6, which includes
this episode that eztv has labelled as 7x01, it should be 6x08. fyi 7x02 - 7x04 have already aired as
well and they are mislabelled. right now i can only find 7x01 - how big, how far, how fast; and 7x04 -
deep freeze as individual files. someone has all 78 episodes on piratebay, but they are combined into
3 files total. i'm only looking for the last episodes from season 6, some of which have not aired but are
already on sale.
dvd releases of tv series often do not correlate with season/episodes as aired on tv.
dvd seasons and tv seasons are not one and the same. sometimes there are entire episodes that
aired but are missing from the dvd series, and vise versa. dvd releases can be a mish mash of
episodes and scenes and have their own unique numbering. a dvd release is not a valid measure of
whether or not a tv show torrent is correctly or incorrectly titled.
eztv is a tv-show site, not a dvd release site.
you can call it whatever you like, you can even rename the file to suit your needs.
however, in regards to television, this file is correctly titled, "s07e01".
i've seen the 78 episode dvd series on tpb, posted by a regular user, not posted by a
piratebay "trusted" or "vip" member. 1920 x 1080, sounds impressive. dvd episodes 1-24 on
one single 22 gb file. yikes! crazy! not following any of the standard scene releaes protocols.
i also see s07e04, on tpb....titled correctly...for tv episodes.
tv series and dvd series can, and do, exist at the same time while having completely different season
and episode numbering. it's just the screwy nature of tv series on dvd vs. tv series on tv.
i see what you mean, i understand now. tv and dvd not always calling it the same, plus i see the
episodes on the season 6 dvds are not even in the same order as when they aired on tv.
it appears 7x04 - deep freeze is numbered correctly but what about 7x01 - how big, how far, how
fast. i downloaded this from eztv.
the reason i bring up 7x01 is because: 2 things, tvguide.com says this is the 2nd episode of season
7 with an air date of 4/29/2012 which matches, zap.com (i copied this from a previous poster,
assuming this is correct, but tvguide.com (us site) says alien sounds episode actually aired
2/14/2012, which would match the feb 14,2012 to unknown/tba below as well. i'm wondering if 7x01
and 7x02 are reversely numbered? maybe the may 6, 2012 was a re-air or it aired for the first time
somewhere else in the world.
(zap2it.com) season 7 -- ?? episodes -- feb 14, 2012 to unknown/tba
7x01 -- apr 29, 2012 -- how big, how far, how fast
7x02 -- may 6, 2012 -- alien sounds
7x03 -- may 13, 2012 -- our place in the milky way
7x04 -- may 20, 2012 -- deep freeze
7x05 -- jun 3, 2012 -- microscopic universe
7x06 -- jun 10, 2012 -- ride the comet
7x07 -- jun 17, 2012 -- when space changed history
6/3/2012: microscopic universe season 7, episode 5
5/20/2012: deep freeze season 7, episode 4
5/13/2012: our place in the milky way season 7, episode 3
4/29/2012: how big, how far, how fast season 7, episode 2
2/14/2012: alien sounds season 7, episode 1
man this is very confusing. ultimately you are right, we can name and number the files whatever we
want :-) thanks for clarifying the tv/dvd issue.
it would be nice to have just one single reliable tv listing site that is 100% accurate.
unfortunately this particular show is all over the place when it comes to tv listing sites.
we may never know...
as far as the internet goes, i can only seem to find;
7x01 -- how big, how far, how fast (here on eztv, posted may 23 (or 24))
7x03 -- may 13, 2012 -- our place in the milky way (first instance i found of this posted elsewhere today)
7x04 -- may 20, 2012 -- deep freeze (started apearing elsewhere from may 24)
in seperate torrents.
there is, as said before, however another torrent around containing the universe episodes 49-78 from a
bluray disc, ep 72-78 being the 'season 7' episodes which seems promising. though for some reason, as
the earlier poster stated, it contains those 29 episodes crammed into one massive 22.4gb mkv file. that
seems very impractical, but maybe thats just me.

they were meant to have been posted here long ago long be for the big ban of time its self...........
lucky the nerds went out and did all the research and here you are.... next time you better beat me
to the posting of it
fyi: eztv only post links to shows that were capped by "the scene" and torrented by specific scene
release groups. this way eztv can maintain a high lever of quality. when eztv does not post a link, it is
usually for one of the following reasons: the scene did not cap/record the show, a torrent was not
created by one of eztv's preferred release groups, or an eztv bot (automated process) was offline
at the time the show was being releaed by one of the preferred release groups.
