nooooooooo why couldn't the standard def have come first!
because it never does, it's only the file size and the time it takes to upload that makes it appear as if it
is the other way around. the shows are encoded while they are being recorded these days, then they
are cut (to remove duplicate segments and ads), remuxed and archived (packed) and uploaded to the
servers (under quality over speed mantra, e.g. 720p version first) from which distribution groups like
eztv and vtv (which share this site) download the files,
perform some initial seeding and then publish the files.
i appreciate the repack, but perhaps there should be some quality control measures in effect. 3 hours d/l
with 2.7 ratio kind of defeats the whole purpose, especially for archiving. just spreading an obsolete file
around.
anelaen, what percentage of error would be acceptable to you in your free pirated content? 2% 1% .5%
do you know what the rate of error is for scene releases?
[sarcasm] quality control....<g> why didn't they think of that. [/sarcasm]
who the hell cares about sd???
compared to 720p, it looks like garbage.
and anyone that doesn't have an hdtv by now, get with the frikkin program already!!

cheers r0z3, you'll be paying my internet bandwidth then, i assume. since we all should adhere to
your standards!
ps: i thought the "scene", which is pretty much why they themselves nuke rips, was what controlled
the quality?
we're back to "first out, best dressed." ie; look at moi look at moi, oh wait, i fucked up, hang on,
oh now look at moi proper, look at moi proper...
i delete them after i've watched them anyway, lol. unless someone wants to buy me hard drives every
month?
