wow, i'm surprised this is back. i thought of it more as a mini-series. it was ok, but just shocked to see

you must have missed the last episode then. definite cliffhanger. plus amc would never unfinish a series,
they have too much respect for them.

the series was renewed for a second season on june 13, 2011, after the twelfth episode aired.
production began on the 13-episode second season in november 2011.
series developer veena sud confirmed the rosie larsen murder investigation will be solved, and a
second case will be introduced. two new recurring characters will be introduced in season two, including
marin ireland as holder's sister and mark moses as lt. carlson, a new detective that will aid in the
investigation.
i've been waiting for season two since the end of season one. i โค๏ธ this show.

shouldn't this be titled 'the killing us' or '2011' or something, since it is a remake. or does that only
happen with uk shows?

the original show is called 'forbrydelsen', 'the killing' was just what bbc decided to call it when they aired

ugh. i loved the first season but this double episode seemed to just drag on and on. too much
wallowing in drama and arguing that didn't carry the plot forward at all. there's a hotkey i use to
skip forward 10 seconds at a time and that button got more action than what this ep gave...
i didn't even remember the larsen case was somehow unsolved. the murderer was pretty clear to me. i
was expecting a new case. so it didn't get to a very good start when it dawned upon me that they'd
be going over the same case on season 2. losing interest here...

wow did you ever miss the boat on this show. season 1 flowed very nicely into season 2 and quite a
bit was explained in first 2 eps of season 2.

the us version is "ok"... but it doesn't quite capture the original. it comes down to casting the
lead.. lets say you did a remake of colombo, following the stories with maybe some slight
variations.. if you could come up with a good actor that could capture the quirks and overall
personality it would be good.. otherwise, it would be like this.. "ok"
