yeah, i was originally a naysayer as well, but i was wrong. for some reason the production value of
the first episode looked cheap and i also didn't like how out of shape the new spartacus looked.
but it does get exponentially better as the season unfolds (well, except for the whole naevia
subplot) until each episode leaves you with your mouth wide open thinking, "i can't believe they
just did that". probably helps that the season was only 10 episodes. glad i stuck with it.
