which is not to say that those are in any way better than any of the many other publically available sites
which post that sort of content, of course. 🙂
thanks kassyopeia
other than checking if a torrent has a repack or proper, i was wondering if you know of a site that lists
nuked torrents before a replacement is made available. i seem to remember seeing such a list on
some site but i don't remember it's name. you seem to be a resourceful and knowledgeable person in
such matters so thought i would ask. 🙂 i'm a bit of a research geek myself 😏 so i'm always
looking to add to my list of resources.
ah, i see. orlydb does do that in a way, of course, by tagging the nuked release in the listings regardless
of whether a proper/repack already exists. apparently, the text of the nukemsg is included in searches
(e.g. http://orlydb.com/?q=contains) , but i don't see a way of searching or filtering for any and all nukes.
curiously, searching for the term "nuked" returns an http 500 (http://orlydb.com/?q=nuked) , fwiw.
let me know if you find a satisfactory solution! 🙂
eta: incidentally, i can't help but notice that 2hd's record has been terrible of late, averaging almost a
nuke a day for over a week now (http://orlydb.com/?q=repack+xvid+2hd) . i remember someone
predicting that the extra workload they took on, by attempting in conjunction with fqm to fill the tv-xvid
void created by the x264 ruleset, wouldn't be sustainable in the long run. time will tell if this slump in
quality is the first symptom of that, or merely a temporary thing...
