especially interesting because when the mp4 format is routinely and vehemently defended on here,
there's always emphasis on the smaller file size, but that isn't the case a lot of the time. and,
the quality is better in that the video is sharper, but the pixelated glitches should be considered
too when discussing quality.

i am noticing a huge upgrade in quality on amazing race over the xvid releases. the extra 100mb
sucks if you have a download cap.. but for me, x264 gets a thumbs up for amazing race. some shows
i don't see much difference.

.mp4 is fine for some people, i understand the quality is better. for some shows, it seems to even
be smaller than divx .avi. for myself, .mp4 is useless to me, unless i convert it. i wish we could
have both formats uploaded here. that way people could choose which format they want. i am
downloading the .mp4s now and storing them in case one day i no longer make heavy use of my devices
that can't play .mp4.... but for now, i have to go and find a divx .avi somewhere else as well.....
