use vlc media player.. plays all codecs.. instead of

by the way for all those saying eztv just posts what comes out first that fqm release was out before
the x264 so why wasn't it posted here instead of the inferior mp4

hmmm? id ave to look into that.. im guessing atm that it's probably an un-edited
version of the fqm release on the bay that has the commercial breaks still in it,
where as on here they take a little longer to be put up because of the edited out
commercials.
dnt quote me on that tho, i could be totally wrong, i'm just thinking
out load as a possible answer to your question... lol... ima check that
version too to see if im right.

not everyone is in the usa; most of us are probably not.
we have to download almost everything or wait 6 months for axn or star to show it.

true enough, but not everyone has hardware that can handle mp4 or mkv. that's why people are pissed
off, as the slaves of the idiot lantern suddenly got cut off mid-season in their shows! the scene
boys handled this situation a little poorly, by not letting the shows end their seasons in avi.
but then again, some people would bitch about it anyway. those trolls are everywhere...

last week the avi was definitely superior to the mp4 release on both video and audio. which is too
bad because i do dig the smaller file size a lot.

fyi: this particular mp4 is not compatible with playback via xbox 360.
...i downloaded tonight's simpsons ep, also in mp4, and it plays fine. something's clearly amiss with the
encoding in some of the mp4s but obviously not all of them.

great episode ... good quality. a/v is 8/8 in my book (with 720p being the reference 10/10).
