this is good,everybody seems to realise now people want the...x264 or the h264 files

funny i was just thinking the opposite. i prefer the regular releases because they are avi files.

i totally agree. the avi files play smoother than the mp4s. especially on external media players (hdmi).
dunno why.

me too, mp4 often locks up on my 2005 g5 powermac, never had issues with avi format.

why can't they release the xvid(avi) alongside x264(mp4) and let the people choose?

not all of us can afford the latest computers.

i , along with most people prefer avi.

but there is something else; these mp4s are next to impossible to convert to avi.

i have converted other mp4s, including 1 yesterday; it took 10 minutes. but these lol mp4s refuse to
convert. an eta of 3 hours for converting a 21 min program makes no sense.

so before they switch they should get the bugs out.

i use this to convert mp4 to avi...works great every time for me. i generally use 25 fps and a 1000
kbs video conversion and 128 kbs mp3 for audio with a custom resolution size of 624 x 352.
