is the rar file supposed to be password protected ?

its not a rar file, i think its just a avi file

these isn't a rar. it should be an avi file, you should check to see if you
renamed the file. it should be name "smallville.s06e14.hdtv.xvid-xor.avi"

i downloaded it from the wrong site!! :/
it looks something like this smallville s06e14 hdtv xvid-xor [eztv].rar
someone password protected it so they can get users to download some bittorant
downloader

it's just a new lame media corp. tactic to try and deter new downloaders.
ignore them. it's obviously the brainchild of some 50 year old exec, with a
"plan" that wouldn't fool someones kid sister.

i still do not understand why people don't get the torrents from either this
site or via our irc channel.. we all know people attempt to put up fake torrents
with our name on it hoping that some idiot will download it...

if they're linking to this forum (why?!) the source should show up in referral
logs, just send those to an information page instead. shouldn't be too hard.

the reason is simple novaking. i didn't know of this site before. when i
downloaded that torrent they kept the same filename which had eztv on it and
that's how i ended on this site. and i like it here :d

hi syphax, it's good that you were able to get to this site directly. anyway,
just for future reference...if you get torrents from mininova and the torrent is
labeled eztv, check the uploader. if it's not uploaded by eztv, be suspicious 🙂

there have been a few people asking for passwords in the comments to torrents i
get recently. what i dont get is firstly, why the first option for these poor
souls is not to get a password cracker for archives. i mean its not rocket
surgery. it's almost pure logic to do so. any mofo that password protects any
archive does so knowing its just fuel for people who want what theyre password
protecting. astalavista is your friend.

secondly, dear holy fat bastard god, only utter morons password rars, and only
bigger morons rar avi's. but lets not start the 'scene' bullshit here (been
there, done that, whipped the horse on piratebay) with rars. just admit it, its
a waste of time 😉

can someone pleeease! share ep14 smallville:( i've got all other eps just not
having much luck with this one. thanks everyone:) ps. this site rules!
