Alcatraz 1x04 (HDTV-LOL)

i like sam neil but don't like his character in this show, have never liked garcia and the female
detective actress is so annoying - giving up after 3 episodes.

any idea why this show hasn't got a listing in the "show list" section? was only by chance that i found
it.

dungeonraider must be a chick or gay. no fullblooded would find the female detective annoying she is
freaking hot man and the show is also awesome

i think this show has some good potential and i'm enjoying each episode more and more. i wasn't a
big fan of the detective chick at first, but she's grown on me over the past couple of eps, and so
has the professor, and well.. sam niel.. enough said. loving the show, and i hope it continues to
get better and better.

i didn't say she wasn't hot... but that doesn't preclude being annoying, and there are certainly
hotter who aren't annoying.

ooh.. sarcasm! i was sharing my opinion of the show as is quite common on these forums - hoping to
get other people to share theirs.

she is very hot. kinda annoying, but no more so than olivia on fringe, and a great deal hotter.

the show basically sucks, though.

they really need to do better than fringe/lost mash-up to keep me watching.

gave it 4 eps and i am done.

90% of the show - our heroes chase down the convict. mix in some convict back story. both completely
irrelevant to the big mystery. of course the questions are who sent them, how are they picking their
targets, etc. but let's be honest - the bulk of the show has little to do with that.

last 5 minutes of the show - tease the viewers with the big mystery. of course sam neil knows he's
getting closer, and probably knows what he is getting closer to. but we don't, so for us it's just "oh look.
another mysterious thing that they are about to reveal...in 5...4...3...2... oh. the ep is over." neither
compelling nor satisfying.

sadly, i expect this formula to be repeated until the final season (assuming the show is allowed to run
its course). so might as well just skip to the last 5 minutes of every ep til then.

lost held you in suspense the entire episode. otherwise there would have been no point watching it.
that's what we have with alcatraz.

a great show, not sure what you guys are on about, if ya don't like it don't watch it,,,,, woo hoo
