i'm not sure if it was meant to be funny, but jim's drunk-driving at the end didn't make me laugh. it just made me feel
uncomfortable. it reminded me of mcnulty's drunk-driving in the wire, which was a low point for him (and that managed to
make it funny anyway).

it wasnt drunk driving. merideth had parked his suv in and jim wanted to get outta there so badly he
drove across the lawn.

yeah, i think you were uncomfortable all on your own there.
