buffy and angel both went decent amount of seasons..and most of his shows come with endings..even if it
takes a few years. im remarking more on what gets green lit and what stays on the air..his shows work off
very involved stories and characters that take time to develop. studios dont have patience
this show was actually like a bad 80's sitcom, bosom buddies. with the same idiotic premise (okay, in
bosom buddies they needed to pretend to be women to live in a women-only building), it survived a bare
two seasons on the charm of tom hanks and peter scolari. would not have bet hanks would become an
oscar winner at that time, though.
but this show was obviously worse. don't think either of the leads is going to make us forget about tom
hanks any time soon.
i thought work it was bearable since there isn't much else to watch , but man up i thought was a
terrible show couldn't even get through the first episode.
the storyline sounded so stupid i couldn't bring myself to watch it. i check out most new shows, but
the storyline for this one sounded too idiotic for my taste. i'm not that big into "stupid-funny" to
begin with. i'm am not surprised that it got cancelled after 2 episodes.
it's shows like this that make me sad, and a little mad, that other newer shows aren't given a fair
chance. i think they should stop creating so many new tv shows, and instead give shows that have
lasted an entire season a better chance to thrive in a second season. they create too many new tv
shows and that gives current newer shows a lesser chance of succeeding.
"mad love" and "better with you" were great comedies from 2010-2011... they managed to last a whole
season, but then they didn't get renewed. this was to make room for "better" shows for 2011-2012 and
also due to low-ratings. i think if they were given more promotion and better time slots perhaps,
these two shows could have thrived in a second season!
i think there should be less new tv shows each fall, and tv stations should focus more on the tv
shows that survived their first season by renewing them for a second season. this would give them a
better chance to thrive!

my biggest problem with man up was that i couldn't keep the 3 "man" shows straight - how to be a
gentleman, man up, and last man standing (which had the working title of man up)
i didn't hate it, it was a relatively harmless show, but it wasn't a particularly memorable show, either - it
didn't have the draw, i had no feeling that i needed to see it.
they should at least get male leads who'll look like real women after dressing up. that'll at least
be more believable. in any case, i'm not sad to see it go.
man up was by far the best of abc's most recent canceled shows.
work it was a fucking tragedy and should never left the spit-ball table.
last man standing is not funny at all, it is just a gayer version of tool time.

i totally agree with that.
nothing worse then having men cross-dress when they cannot even pull it off as a woman...
i was like, ok... lemme check if it was watchable, but it really wasn't...
makes me wonder how the show even came through the pre-viewing...
