play the mkv. files or why is it 1gb...

ne wayz you need a bt program like azureus or utorrent. you can search google
for the programs than choose the one you like; my pref is azureus.

normally, isn't the hr version released before the 720p version?

the 720p versions don't work in mplayer

in vlc the 720p work, but vlc does't work with opengl driver on my second
screen, only on the first screen...

i hope these 720p releases doesn't take over the hr...

well how do u play the mkv files?

also i'm new to downloading the hr verisons, why is it that the audio is so much
lower on my comp? is there a codec needed to normalize the audio on the hr files?

hell yeah they do !!

@antdawg6 : hr versions are in ac3 5.1, normal versions are in stereo.

there was a hr released:

but it didn't appear in the front page, only in the rss feed.

i use mplayer 1.0pre8-4.1.1

all i see is greenish looking squares, and mplayer gives a lot of this output:

other rips with the 264 codec do work, the only difference i see when i do
midentify | grep id_video_codec:

for the 720p versions (don't work)

other working x264 rips
id_video_codec=ffh264

i googled around but didn't found a clue...

can we also get 720p rips of battlestar galactica? tnx!
