i loved this to be honest!

robert sheehan is as good as this as he is (playing nathan) in misfits!
and the rest of the cast brilliant too.

don't get me wrong, i like the borrowers, but i liked it the first four times i saw it produced. and now a fifth? are we
truly so inundated (or perhaps saturated would be a more apropos term) with movies and tv shows (with hundreds of
channels to choose from) that nobody can come up with anything new anymore? have we really gotta remake everything
, over and over again?

seriously, if it's true that there's nothing new under the sun, then i say, "hell boys, let's find a new sun!"

yes, a lot of crap shows have come out of hollywood too.
i'm not a fan of wide sweeping generalized bashing of entire groups of people, places, or things.
it's sophmoric (conceited and overconfident of knowledge but poorly informed and immature).

you realise, of course, that the statement "sweeping generalisations bashing (whatever) are
sophomoric" is itself a sweeping generalisation (and a bash)... 😉

comprehension.

i find myself hoping that your reply is an example of something very similar to poe's law (in which
case, well played!)*, because if it really is the rather weak flame that it appears to be on the
surface... well, that would just be disappointing.

enormous. same stuff just dressed differently. it's rare to get something new and good.

meh, the show was just ok. nothing special. i didn't play it for my neices or nephews yet...they migh
enjoy it more than i did.

d'oh, so it's not fair for someone to have an opinion that hollywood is crap but on the other side of the
coin you can pull a 'fact' out of the air that is both undocumented and unproven and that deems you ok
to 'bash a place'
